Ms. LaScala is a civil litigator, with an emphasis on general commercial litigation, products liability defense, and insurance coverage actions. Her cases are venued in New Jersey state and federal courts. She works on trial and appellate matters. After graduating from law school, Ms. LaScala clerked for the Honorable Katherine R. Dupuis, J.S.C., in the Union Vicinage of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division – Civil Part. Of note during her clerkship, Ms. LaScala assisted Judge Dupuis with a class action trial that contained claims of consumer fraud violations of both state and federal statutes.
During law school, Ms. LaScala was named Best Brief writer in her Appellate Advocacy class, which led to her appointment to the Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Board. She served as President of the Corporate Law Association and was a member of the Student Bar Association. Ms. LaScala also donated over seventy hours of pro bono service while a law student.
