Edward’s practice involves the representation of multinational insurance carriers in wide variety of complex coverage matters, including both pre-suit coverage analysis and claims-related litigation. Edward is a tenacious advocate who forcefully and thoughtfully represents his clients’ interests and helps them achieve their most pressing legal and business goals. He specializes his practice in first-party property insurance, subrogation and general liability matters. He has managed cases involving large scale commercial property damage, construction defects, data breaches, time element coverages, builders risk policies and worker’s compensation claims. Edward also handled numerous COVID-19 related actions, assisting several carriers in obtaining dismissals of business interruption claims in state and federal courts.
Prior to joining the firm, Edward served as a law clerk for the Honorable Hany A. Mawla, J.A.D., in the Appellate Division of the New Jersey Superior Court. Prior to his clerkship, Edward graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2018, where he was a member of the Seton Hall Circuit Review. While in law school, he interned for the Honorable Stuart A. Minkowitz, the Assignment Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey for the Morris and Sussex County Vicinages, and with a law firm with a practice specializing in land use law in New Jersey.
Edward is licensed by the state bars of New Jersey and New York, and is admitted in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York. He is also admitted in the United State Court of Appeals, Second and Third Circuits. He has been selected as a 2024 New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Star in Insurance Coverage.
